What we do
Strong, straight fencing
We put up new fences and gates, and replace old or storm-damaged ones, across Newbury, West Berkshire, North Hampshire and South Oxfordshire. Posts are set properly and your old fencing is taken away, so you're left with a sturdy boundary and a tidy garden.
Fencing we put up
Fences, gates and repairs
Panel fencing
Ready-made timber panels between posts: a quick, cost-effective way to mark out a boundary.
Closeboard fencing
Overlapping vertical boards fixed to rails between posts: strong, private and well suited to exposed gardens.
Featheredge fencing
Featheredge boards fixed on site, so the fence can follow slopes and awkward boundaries with a neat finish.
Woven hurdle fencing
Natural woven hazel or willow hurdles for a softer, rustic look in cottage and country gardens.
Gates
Timber side and garden gates made to fit, hung on sturdy posts so they open and close properly.
Storm damage and old fence removal
Fence down after high winds? We replace broken panels and posts, and take your old fencing and concrete away.

FAQs
Fencing questions
How long does it take to put up a new fence?
It depends on the length of the fence, the style you choose and whether old fencing needs taking down first. Many garden fences take a day or two. We'll give you a realistic timescale when we quote.
Concrete or timber posts: which is better?
Concrete posts don't rot and are very hard-wearing, and they pair well with concrete gravel boards. Timber posts have a more natural look and suit featheredge and closeboard fencing. We'll recommend what suits your fence and garden.
Will you take away my old fencing?
Yes. We take down and remove your old panels, posts and any concrete as part of the job, and leave the area clean and tidy.
Can you quote from photos?
Yes. Send us a few photos and the rough length of the fence through our quote form and we can often give you an idea of cost. For bigger jobs we'll arrange a visit to measure up before giving you a written quote.
